A message from the 2012 Ladies Captain, Margaret Linnit
"Welcome to the Ladies' Section of the Rushden Golf Club website where you will find all recent results and forthcoming events and activities. I am looking forward to my year as captain, and hope that by the end of it we shall have many more new members, whom we will make very welcome (as we always do!).
So, good wishes to all lady members for the forthcoming golfing season - the first in this new age of equality. As long as we enjoy our golf, support our fellow competitors, and respect all other club members, we shall continue to be one of the friendliest and most successful clubs in the County."
Results
9th May 2012: Ping Competition
A 4 ball better ball competition and the winner goes through to the next round of the competition at another club. The competition was played during rain but at least we were able to play. The winners were Karen Findlay and Marian Gibson with 30 points on countback from runners-up Margaret Bird and Pam McCutcheon.
11th April 2012: 18 hole Stableford Fun Competition
Teams of 3. One score to count on Par 3's, two scores to count on Par 4's and three scores to count on Par 5's.
The Winners were Stephanie Nash, Deirdre Darlow and Margaret Linnitt with 67 points. R/up were Jean Daker, Pam McCutcheon and Sue Pearson with 61 points.
28th March 2012: Stableford Competition
Silver Division: Winner - Liz Hall 32 points. R/up Pat Quincey 31 points.
Bronze Division: Winner - Margaret Bird 36 points. R/up Anne Bewers 35 points.
Copper Division: Winner - Margaret Linnitt 34 points. R/up Joyce Neville 26 points.
21st March 2012: Captain's v Vice-Captain's
This was our first 18 holes of the season and the match was played in perfect weather conditions. This was won by the Captain's Team 5-4.
14th March 2012: 12 hole Winter League Competition
The Winners were Janet Downing, Margaret Bird and Mavis Newell with 53 points. Runners-up were Molly Hulatt, Marian Gibson and Janette Hanger with 51 points on countback from Pat Quincey, Maureen DeBanke and Pauline Agnew.
7th March 2012: 9 hole Stableford

29th February 2012: 12 hole Winter League Competition
This was won by Molly Hulatt, Marian Gibson and Christine Roughton with 51 points. Runners-up were Denyse Hadley, Pam McCutcheon and Sue Pearson with 48 points.
1st February 2012: 12 hole Winter League Competition
The Winners were Pam McCutcheon, Betty Dobbs and Peggy Sturgess with 50 points. Runners Up were Denyse Hadley, Margaret Bird and Mavis Newell with 47 points.
24th January 2012: 12 hole Stableford
Silver division was won by Pat Quincey with 26 points, Alison Oberman (20 points) was second. Bronze division was won by Pam McCutcheon with 26 points, Margaret Bird (23 points) was second. Copper Division was won by Pauline Agnew with 17 points and Peggy Sturgess with 16 points came second.
17th January 2012: 9 hole Texas Scramble
Janet Downing, Margaret Bird and Janette Hanger with a score of 28, beat Pam McCutcheon, Marian Gibson and Margaret Linnett (score of 32) into second place.
11th January 2012: 12 hole Winter League
The winners were Pam McCutcheon, Pam Rawlins and Margaret Linnitt with 53 points. The runners-up were Molly Hulatt, Mavis Newell and Chris Roughton with 52 points.
4th January 2012: 12 Hole New Year Cup Stableford
The winner was Lynda Davis with 23 points on countback from (second) Pauline Agnew 23 points. Third was Stephanie Nash with 22 points on countback from Denyse Hadley and Molly Hulatt.
21st December 2011: 9 hole Stableford Winter League Competition
The winners were Den Hadley, Jane Houghton and Betty Dobbs with 39 points on countback from the runners up Janet Downing, Maureen DeBanke and Mavis Newell.
14th Dec 2011: 9 Hole Bottle Trot Stableford Competition
This was won by Janette Hanger with 18 points. Second was Stephanie Nash with 17 points on countback from Joyce Neville (Third with 17 points). Fourth place went to Sue Pearson with 16 points on countback from Pauline Agnew and Julie Beavan.
7th Dec 2011: Christmas Cup
Won by Den Hadley with 24 points. Second was Alison Oberman with 23 points and third was Pam McCutcheon with 22 points.

The Winners were Stephanie Nash, Janet Downing and Betty Fowler with 48 points. The Runners-up on countback were Pam McCutcheon, Jackie Tomlin and Pauline Agnew 48 points.
16th November 2011: 12 Hole Winter League
Winners were Jean Daker, Pauline Agnew and Jane Houghton 54. points. Jane Houghton was the wild card as Jean and Pauline were a twosome. The Runners-up were Den Hadley, Jane Houghton and Jo Tate 50 points.
9th November 2011: Stableford
12 holes teams of 3, 2 best scores to count and double scores on the par 3's with all 3 to score on those holes.
The Winners were Alison Oberman, Mary Hardy and Susan Peason with 63 points and the Runners-up were Pat Quincey, Anne Bewers and Kp Tate with 62 points.
1st November 2011: AGM
Alison Oberman retired as Ladies' Captain and our new Ladies' Captain is Margaret Linnitt.
