Juniors
 Rushden Golf Club has a thriving junior section. Competitions and
coaching sessions are held throughout the year.
New to Golf
Juniors who are interested in golf but do not belong to a golf club may consider having group lessons with PGA Professional, Adrian Clifford.
The courses are held between March and October each year. Each course runs for 5 weeks covering stance and full swing using irons, putting and chipping.
The course fee is £25.00 per junior.

Beginners
Once you have been accepted as a member of Rushden Golf Club you can attend junior sessions.
For beginners, these are held each Monday from 6.00pm-7.30pm. Sessions for 2009
will commence on Monday, May 11th and will run until September. Sessions are
not held on Bank Holidays.
A record will be kept of your progress as you learn new skills. When you reach the required level you will be able to play the main course and join in the competitions.
If you wish to join the beginners groups please contact the Secretary, Ellie Williams on 01933 418511. Relevant paperwork must be completed prior to you being accepted on these sessions.
Competitions
We will be holding junior competitions on alternate Sunday’s throughout
the Spring / Summer. Entry for this will be £1.00 per person / per competition.
The scores will be recorded throughout the summer and a trophy awarded to the
overall winner at the end of the season.
An entry sheet will be placed on the Junior Notice Board in the main entrance. Please place your entry fee in to an envelope and clearly mark on the outside your name, the date and the amount enclosed. Place this is the COMPETITION BOX on the junior notice board.

Details of Junior Open’s being held at other golf courses in the county are displayed on the junior notice board.
The Rushden Golf Club Junior Open will be held on Thursday 27th August. If you require an application form please contact the Club.
